New Work Begins: Excavation

Well, it has been a few months since we had any work done on the house. Beth has been coordinating the work that we planned for before I left, and I'll have a few postings from the pictures she sent to me. The plan for this new phase was to have some excavation completed before we started on the exterior. This includes having a new line dug and installed for our waste spectic tank; French drains along the backside of the house to divert ground water; a new slave cistern for our household water; a stairwell into the basement; the driveway graded and new crushed stone laid; and flexible water line we'll need that will go from the outdoor wood furnace into the house.
